Forgiatura A.Vienna (one of GIVA forging production plants) equipped with a HI-TECH hot forming technology, supervised and supported by GIVA PEG (PROCESS ENGINEERING GROUP), have obtained a CONTOUR FORGED disc in INCONEL 718 material grade, with dia 2 m, and with a fine GRAIN SIZE.
Superior deformation power, delivered by completely in house developed HI-TECH, has been used during a strictly calibrated and highly selective production process.
After a large Shell Ring Rolling technology developed by GIVA Group in 1999, which brought a significant contribution to a rationalization of production processes used in Downstream and Nuclear markets, this completely new technological development in Italy, aims to contribute for a future achievements in Power Gen market.
