GIVA Group has signed a new 20-year on-site Service Agreement with GreenYellow, an international leader in decentralized energy transition. The agreement covers the management and optimization of two photovoltaic plants already operating at our production sites in Visano (Brescia) and Cella Dati (Cremona).

Through an innovative Energy-as-a-Service model, we have entrusted GreenYellow with the operation, maintenance and performance optimization of our plants. More specifically, the agreement involves an 8MWp ground-mounted photovoltaic plant equipped with solar tracking technology in Visano and a 3 MWp rooftop installation in Cella Dati, for a total installed capacity of 11 MWp.

Thanks to this partnership, we will be able to meet approximately 50% of the energy requirements of the two production sites through self-consumption, with an estimated annual output of approximately 15.5 GWh of renewable energy. In terms of environmental sustainability, this will enable us to avoid more than 6,510 Tons of CO₂ emissions every year – an environmental benefit equivalent to the annual electricity consumption of more than 8,030 households.

By transforming a capital-intensive energy asset into a long-term service, we are continuing to advance our decarbonization journey while reducing energy costs.
